A keychain is held up for inspection, it's simple, black wih a thin crescent moon emblazoned on it and attached with a chain to Moon Shadow's wrist. "To put my body into stasis so I don't need to eat, sleep or any of those things, for at least 2 days if my energy reserves hold out. I've got emergency flares, energy bars and tracking beacons in my belt, also in case of that happening."

One might get the impression that the kid is used to planning ahead for events such as this. Being prepared to run, get trapped in scary places...
