In the bottom of a box of old high school notes in the back of his closet, Ray has a half-finished Sandman fanfic he wrote on a whim. Since arriving at Milliways, he has a quiet fear that one of the Endless will mention it to him and question his characterization.

Kitt will come across Ray eventually. He has some readings! They may have spikes in them. At the very least, they have pointier bits in them. But he does not know how pointy makes for an interesting reading. (And Michael doesn't know he's been read.)

Ever since That One Incident, he takes sadistic pleasure in roasting marshmallows over campfires.

But he won't actually eat anything with marshmallow in it anymore. He just likes setting the bastards aflame.

Ray is responsible ensuring that Utahraptors get even brighter, by looking out for runty Scribble and teaching her things she'll eventually pass onto her chicks, that will then go to their chicks, etc.

He's also responsible for giving several paleontologists heart attacks and starting a firestorm of controversy when they found an ancient toy octopus with Utahraptor toothmarks in a cave.

He actually tried the experiment with pop rocks and Cola to debunk the urban legend. He just ended up being extra hyper and full of gas for a week.

Luckily it came in handy on a bust where they ended up literally gassing the ghosts out.
