Helicopter (Michael, Andrew, Sharpe)
Nov. 1st, 2006 09:41 amThe NYPD sent a helicopter more normally used for crowd and traffic observation. It's not a combat vehicle in any sense of the word, although at a pinch it could be used for rescues or something similar. Right now the pilot looks about as happy as one might expect of a man who's got to fly through an incipient thunderstorm and maintain a safe altitude over eight miles of glowing green river and ectoplasmic energy.
"We might be able to beat the worst of this," he calls to Michael, Sharpe, and Andrew. "Hope none of you guys get airsick..."
The chopper takes off, heading south as swiftly as it can under clouds lit from within.
