The Sukhoy Nos is a hundred and seventy-five meters long and just barely has room for a hundred and sixty men. There are decent places on the sub, to be sure, but they're in the crew areas, not down towards the engine rooms and the reactor. And that's where they're heading- away from the parts of the vessel meant for men, and down into the belly of the beast.
