I mean, yeah, red blade and everything, but it worked! It didn't explode! It didn't set the cat on fire!
I will now pause for a momentary ass dance of victory, because I can... okay, that's done with, and I pray to Fnord that Peter never finds out about that part. But I think it was warranted. Not so much for the part where the lightsaber actually worked as for the part where Master Qui-Gon approved, and offered me a different crystal so that he wouldn't have to train someone using a red saber...
yes, that's right, that's what he said. That and the word 'Padawan' figured really heavily in the ensuing conversation.
There are not enough exclamation points in all the typesets of all the printers of the English language to suit my tastes right now.
