A door opens in the side of the old Hook and Ladder No. 8 building, and Ray stepped through. Holding the door open, he gestured for the others to follow him into the alley.

Kitt's scanner whispered in amused tolerance.

Any car crushers I ought to watch out for? Nail strips on the paths? Large cliffs over looking bodies of water, on fire or otherwise?"

His own scanner flicked in amusement. "Well, I'm glad I'll have company, but wouldn't that mean Kitt would be lonely in car heaven, with no one from FLAG to keep him company?"
